In continuation of her nationwide free health screening programme for women, Mrs. Aisha Buhari, wife of the president, has visited Ibadan to help provide free health screening programme that is expected to capture 2,500 women across the 33 local government areas of the state.

Governor Ajimobi has praised this, citing it as a step towards improving the health sector, not only in the state but in the country at large. He also assured the public that the state government would do everything to assist the wife of the president to achieve her aim.

The screening will take place at the Loyola College, Old Ife Road, Ibadan, on Thursday.

The project is under “Future Assured”, which is part of the initiatives of the wife of the president to complement the efforts of the federal government in providing adequate healthcare services to citizens of the country.
