KGI securities analyst, Ming-Chui Kuo who has a good record of getting predictions about Apple and its products spot-on has disclosed that the tech giant will release three iPads in 2017, according to CNET.
This report though still in the ‘unconfirmed report’ stage comes as a major surprise given Apple’s usual style of releasing one product per year across its product range.
According to Kuo, Apple would likely first release a 10.5-inch iPad Pro. This will particularly prove appealing to those who are keen to experience Apple’s top tablet in a neat mid-sized package.
Second on Kuo’s list is a 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2 and thirdly a more affordable and smaller 9.7-inch iPad.
Kuo also predicted one year ahead of 2017 into 2018 that Apple would adopt OLED technology for the iPad.
Implementing the OLED on the iPad will make its screen flexible. Apple is also rumoured to be ready to implement the OLED on the iPhone in 2017.
