Arsenal continues the struggle to keep their key players at the Emirate, with French striker, Olivier Giroud hinting that he’s considering a move and that his next destination remains in the Premier League and also in London.
Though the Frenchman name a team in London he’s most likely joining, it may be West Ham as he’s been linked to the London side a couple of times this summer.
The Hammers are in desperate need of bolstering their attacking options and, according to The Mirror, the club is confident of signing the frontman.
It would be a major coup for the club if they could pull it off, especially with Marseille and several Serie A clubs lining up potential moves.
Arsenal are expected to strengthen upfront in the summer and that could potentially see the Frenchman move across London.
Well, the 30-year-old originally suggested he is happy to remain at Arsenal, but in the past few days he has said he needs more playing time.
Just over a month ago his agent, Michael Manuello, said Giroud wants to remain at Arsenal for the foreseeable future, although there was uncertainty over his role at the club.
