After much talk about a possible exit from Paris Saint Germain, Julian Draxler, may have found the perfect outlet in Arsenal who are already in talks with his parent club for a loan move for the remainder of the season.
Arsenal have long been linked with a move for the German star who has fallen out of favour at PSG in recent weeks.
The Germany international has started just seven Ligue 1 games all season and is reportedly looking for regular football ahead of the World Cup.
French outlet L’Equipe claim a number of clubs have been showing interest in the former Schalke and Wolfsburg man.
And among them is Arsenal who have reportedly been in talks regarding a loan deal for the 24-year-old in January.
Draxler’s position at PSG came under threat this summer following the arrival of Neymar from Barcelona and Kylian Mbappe on loan from Monaco.
The double signing has meant places in the wide areas are a premium in Unai Emery’s side, leading to the German being used primarily as a central midfielder.
His favoured position is on the left wing but he is yet to make a single appearance there this term for the French side.
PSG boss Emery is also said to have told Draxler he is free to begin looking for a new club in January.
