Arsenal has sold one of its promising youngster to the Dutch Eredivisie.

Daniel Crowley became the latest youngster to leave Arsenal this summer after agreeing a three-year deal with Willem II.

Crowley spent the second half of last season on loan in the Eredivisie with Go Ahead Eagles, for whom he scored twice in 16 league outings.

The 19-year-old’s future has been unclear for some time, having endured a disappointing loan spell with Oxford at the back-end of last year, but now Crowley has the chance to impress in Holland.

The midfielder has penned a three-year contract with the Eredivisie team, having left Arsenal on a free transfer.

Crowley becomes the latest Arsenal youngster to depart north London permanently this summer in what has been a surprising transfer window for the Gunners youth.

Kaylen Hinds left Arsenal for German side Wolfsburg last month in search of a breakthrough into senior football while Chris Willock signed a five-year deal with Benfica a couple of weeks ago.
