American daily newspaper, Boston Globe, published a fake front page reporting likely news stories in a future where Donald Trump is elected President of America.

Among the most head-turning of the fake news stories reported from April 9, 2017: Trump calls for the legislature to approve a $400 million funding to deport all illegal immigrants, a trade war is sparked between the US and China and somehow, Donald Trump has been shortlisted for the Nobel Peace Prize.

The piece was intended as a comic satire but it also has serious, grim undertones for America and for the rest of the world.

The editorial page writes: “Trump’s vision of America promises to be as appalling in real life as it is in black and white on the page. It is a vision that demands an active and engaged opposition. It requires an opposition as focused on denying Trump the White House as the candidate is flippant and reckless about securing it.”
