It appears Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have reached an agreement after months of back and forth over their divorce.
In a joint statement – their first since the divorce saga started in September last year – issued on Monday, the couple agreed to handle their divorce privately even as they work together to “act as a united front”.
“The parties and their counsel have signed agreements to preserve the privacy rights of their children and family by keeping all court documents confidential and engaging a private judge to make any necessary legal decisions and to facilitate the expeditious resolution of any remaining issues.
“The parents are committed to act as a united front to effectuate recovery and reunification,” the statement read.
The new released statement comes after it was reported last week that Angelina had agreed to seal documents relating to her divorce and custody battle with Brad following his requests.
