Against all expectations, President Muhammadu Buhari will not resume work on Friday, but on Monday, Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo has said.

The president was expected to return to his desk on Friday after a 10-day medical vacation in London where he went for the examination of a troubling ear by specialist Ear, Nose and Throat doctors.

Vice-President Osinbajo, however, said in Abuja that “he is in good health, he is fine, he is very well; but what is the point in rushing home?

“Why rush to work on Friday? He can as well spend the weekend there (London), return on Sunday and resume work on Monday.’’
