I had this friend in secondary school whose right arm was shorter than the left due to some birth defect. It also wasn’t straight which made it kind of obvious.

This friend carried this deformity so well that I began to copy her, twisting my arm and trying so hard to position it the way she does hers.

It looked really cute the way she carried it or was it herself.

She walked with so much swagger, her confidence level was out of this world.

She didn’t talk much but had a flock of people at her beck and call, including me.

Remembering this story, I wonder what will happen if we all behaved like her.

Letting our confidence announce us rather than let our short falls determine our quality of life.

Food for thought.
