Chido Onumah, a journalist, blogger, human rights activist and Coordinator of the African Centre for Media and Information Literacy (AFRICMIL), is set to launch his third book titled, ‘We Are All Biafrans’ at the end of May.

As reported by the Daily Trust, the book which was published by Parresia Publishers Ltd. will be launched in conjunction with AFRICMIL in partnership with Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Foundation and “is expected to draw Nigerians from all walks of life.”

Just like his other two books, the book is a “collection of essays published by the author in various newspapers in the last three years (2013-2016) focusing on the crisis of nationhood in Nigeria.”

Speaking in praise of the new book, former Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) president, author and poet, Odia Ofeimun noted that, “Chido Onumah raises opinion-making about Nigeria to the standards of great, uncompromising art.”

Onumah is a Nigerian/Canadian journalist, author, blogger and rights activist. He has worked for over two decades as a journalist, rights activist and media trainer in Nigeria, Ghana, Canada, India, the USA, the Caribbean and Spain. He studied at the University of Calabar and received an MA in Journalism from the University of Western Ontario.

His writing has appeared in major journals all over the world.
