Since the beginning of the new season, there has been so much talk about Antonio Conte’s possible exit from Chelsea following a controversial summer transfer window.
Now, according to reports, Conte’s agent has informed Paris Saint-Germain that the Italian gaffer would be interested in replacing Unai Emery.
The Italian is under pressure after Chelsea’s inconsistent start to the campaign and earlier this month, reports claimed that the 48-year-old regrets not leaving Stamford Bridge in the summer following the transfer controversies at the club.
Reports in Spain have also claimed that Roman Abramovich has already decided to sack Conte and is considering Chelsea’s next managerial appointment.
Emery, meanwhile, is facing being sacked and Yahoo Sport suggests PSG are considering dismissing the 46-year-old before January.
PSG’s sporting director Antero Henrique is said to be working on a plan to replace Emery and is prioritising a move for Jose Mourinho.
But Yahoo Sports claims that Conte’s agent has been in touch with the Ligue 1 leaders to register the Italian’s interest.
Conte signed a new contract with Chelsea in July after winning the Premier League title in his first season, but the new deal did not extend beyond June 2019.
