Following Darth Vader’s rumoured appearance in the new Star Wars movie, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, insiders from Making Star Wars have shared some interesting details about Darth Vader’s scenes in the movie.
They revealed that a stunt suit has been made for the iconic villain, and that Vader’s action scenes will be brutal, stepping the ways he could kill rebels on a battlefield with the Force and his lightsaber.
The pitches revealed people being dismembered by Vader, decapitated rebels, levitating bodies to create human shields, and more.
They described the concept art as “more violent than what we’ve seen Darth Vader do on screen before.”
Though they didn’t have any details about the action scenes Vader is involved in, it sounds like Vader will have some exciting scenes in the film.
If this rumour ends up true, there’s a good chance the standalone film would get a Rated-R rating.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will be released in theaters on Dec. 16.
