Hey guys! I am writing this article out of sheer excitement and the need to share this secret with the world.
About a month ago, i was plagued with acne and had started breaking out, not just any acne but the kind that leaves those nasty spots making you look like one of the 101 dalmatian dogs. It was horrible! What was worse, i couldn’t figure out the cause of this sudden break out and why my skin was turning against me. I tried to eliminate the possible causes, no it wasn’t sweat clogging my pores from my regular 5-day -a-week workout sessions, nor was it the fact that i had just had my period. Of Course, like most girls , i had period pimples but they were gone as soon as my period was over and never left spots on my face. These new upshoots on my face were definitely as source of concern and fright too as i couldn’t imagine walking round town with a face such as this.
I shared my plight with everyone who cared to listen, most of whom had a solution or a certain trick they’d tried out and one they could swear by. Obviously, i was cautious however, as i didn’t want my desperation to turn me into a product junkie or make the situation worse. I had spoken to a colleague who had suggest an all natural receipe, she was the first of the lot who had suggested a natural fix. This made it easier to try, you can never go wrong with any thing natural.
Luckily, all the ingredients necessary were those that could be found in the kitchen, thus making this recipe very cost effective. Before i let you in on the recipe, i’d like to say that it’s been 3 short days already (call me presumptuous) but i’ve already starting seeing results. Amazing! So here goes nothing –
HONEY – 1 Teaspoon
Honey is rich in many essential minerals and vitamins including folic acid, potassium and riboflavin. All of which are very good for your skin and capable of giving your skin that radiant glow.
LEMON JUICE – 1 Teaspoon
Lemon is a good exfoliator and antioxidant. This makes it very good for opening and cleansing your pores, fading spots and lightening skin tone.
OATS (Blended) – 1 Teaspoon
Oats help remove dead skin cells and sebum from your face, which are the primary cause of acne/ pimples. It also helps to fade acne scars.
Turmeric – 1 Teaspoon
Great antioxidant, turmeric also possess anti-inflammatory properties which is good for your skin and will help with the disappearance of acne.
It is advisable to make your face mask freshly every morning or night depending on your prefered time of use and leave the face mask on for about 5-10 minutes before washing off with warm water. This acne removal face mask works wonders you should try it and drop your comments below. Its very effective with it’s only con being the yellowish colored finger nails but that could be easily fixed by using a makeup brush for application or washing your hands thoroughly with soap and lukewarm water.
