The Oyo State governor, Abiola Ajimobi has dared students of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) to do their worst after the students booed him recently over the closure of the school for over eight months, saying it is not the first time a higher institution will be closed.

He was addressing the students at the Oyo State secretariat when he dared them to do their worst after they had booed him.

The Gov. Ajimobi-led administration has been notable for owing teachers and civil servants’ salaries.

In a video shared by Sahara TV, Ajimobi who was addressing the students said as the constituted authority in the state he should not be disrespected.

At a point during the address, he ordered policemen to bring the student who seemed to speak up against him. He later told the policemen not to bother, after some resistance from the students.
