Nigeria’s U-23 team landed in Sao Paolo on Monday ahead of their last Group B match against Colombia on Wednesday in the Rio Olympics men’s football competition.
The Dream Team VI as the Nigerian U-23 team are otherwise called ended their five days stay in Manaus, Brazil, on a high with a 1 – 0 victory over Sweden after beating Japan 5 – 4 in their opening match.
The Nigerian team led by Samson Siasia is expected to train for the first time in Sao Paolo on Tuesday and possibly in a relaxed mode preparatory to their match against Colombia.
In a relaxed mode because the win over Sweden already secured a spot for the team in the Quarter Finals where the boys would possibly engage host Brazil led by Barcelona’s Neymar.
Brazil’s quality is still to be feared even though they’ve had an unfortunate tournament so far as they are yet to score a single goal playing out goalless draws in their first two matches.
