Former Secretary-General of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi, has warned Super Eagles’ head coach, Gernot Rohr, to ensure that he parades only the best legs in the August 28 FIFA World Cup qualifier against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in Uyo.

The Super Eagles are currently top of the Group G table with six points from two games, four points ahead of closest opponents, Cameroon, but the recent home flop in the Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, qualifier against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa has raised doubts over the Eagles chances in the World Cup qualification.

Ogunjobi who is the Special Assistant to the Osun State Governor on Football Matters, noted that the encounter with the Indomitable Lions is very crucial and cannot be toyed with.

He believes that Nigeria is blessed with quality players that can deal with the Cameroonians, only if the right players are called to camp and made to prepare on time.

“This is a match that we cannot toy with and I believe that we have the material (players) that can deal with Cameroon.

“All we need to do is to make up our mind to prepare on time, to let the boys know what is really at stake in the match.

“I have that confidence now that we’re going to overcome Cameroon. I would just advice Rohr to please prepare the best materials; the best legs that will do us proud.

“And for the NFF, they must prepare for that match on time and make sure that they plot all loopholes,” said, Ogunjobi, who is also the Osun State Football Association (OSFA) boss.
