A host of video Gamers out there stay on the console to get entertained. Yes, they get entertained and get even much more, but hardly even know it, or don’t link it to their gaming habit.
Gaming benefits Gamers in more ways than just entertaining them and helping them to survive boredom.
Yes, too much of everything is bad, and same goes for gaming. So it would make a lot of sense for gamers to play their favourite game in moderation.
Here are some awesome benefits of gaming:
They’ll keep your mind nimble
A research once revealed that subjects who frequently played video games improved in mental processing, while others who didn’t did not improve. The ones playing the video games were able to slow and delay the typical decline in cognitive speed and abilities by as much as six years. Put simply, playing the right types of video games can help keep your brain in shape.
They can actually make you more socially-acceptable
According to a 2013 report by the American Psychological Association, more than 70 per cent of players play with at least one friend and millions of people have joined virtual worlds through social games like Farmville to MMORPGs like World of Warcraft. Online gaming has helped loners to meet new friends and exchange ideas.
It can make your brain stronger
A study has found that the areas in the brain responsible for spatial navigation, memory formation, strategic planning and fine motor skills in the hands could all be positively impacted by video games. This makes sense, because most video games aren’t easy and take some work to master. They also push you to think strategically.
