You’ve heard the phrase being used before, “learn to live in the moment”. Individuals take idyllic trips to exotic locations where they practice the art of living in the moment. It is indeed an art to be practiced because human nature is prone to anxiety and worry, it is why high blood pressure is a prevalent condition.

Living in the moment helps to eliminate all of that. It is not a guarantee, but it will help you live a longer life. Living in the moment is easy, it quite literally means that you need to live in the very second you are in at any given time; right now as you are reading this, or in a second from now when you would have finished reading.

You live in the moment when you don’t worry or brood over the next few minutes or hours or days because you have no control and no say over that future time that has not happened yet.

You only have the now time you are living in and living in the moment is how you make use of that time. Focus on the task being done at the moment; practice the art of being present; live and speak and act your best in that moment like it might be your last one.

The moment you are living in is the only one you really have. The trick to living in the moment is learning to appreciate it and ignore the impulse to fixate over some future time that you absolutely do not and will never have any control over whatsoever.
