The 2016 San Diego Comic-Con was swell. First they presented us with the first Wonder Woman trailer and now the first footage from the upcoming Justice League, Graeme McMillan wrote in the online version of the Hollywood Reporter on Tuesday.

In the newly-released footage, Batman (Ben Affleck) was seen trying to recruit Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Victor Stone) and The Flash (Ezra Miller).

As seen in the footage, Batman looked like he would be leading the team he was trying so hard to recruit against the forces hell bent on destroying their world.

The film is directed by Zack Snyder, with a screenplay by Chris Terrio, and features an ensemble cast that includes Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill (Superman), Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, J. K. Simmons, Amber Heard and Willem Dafoe.

The story behind the Justice League movie is that, Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg came together to form a team that’ll face the catastrophic threat of Steppenwolf and his army of Parademons.

The film was announced in October 2014 with Snyder on board to direct and Terrio attached to write the screenplay. Principal photography began on April 11, however.

The Justice League movie is set to hit the theaters on November 17 2017.
