He’s the Canadian pop star who has achieved world wide fame and no doubt deep pockets.
And it seems Justin Bieber is splashing out upwards of $5,500 a night to stay at the luxurious Makepeace Island, co-owned by ex-Virgin boss Richard Branson.
The 23-year-old singer was seen on Tuesday at the resort – near Noosa Heads in Queensland – going shirtless in board shorts as he walked around the tropical oasis.
According to the website, the Island is rented out exclusively for up to 20 guests and costs $5,500 a night, plus extra charges for more than four guests.
Otherwise rooms are available to rent during selected periods.
The cost for exclusive hire of the idyllic retreat includes staying at Richard’s private villa, includes all meals by a chef, transfers and servicing.
The island is shaped like a love heart and features a 500,000 litre lagoon pool, an outdoor cinema, tennis court and three lavish Balinese-style villas.
