With uncertainty still well rested on the future of Juventus midfielder, Paul Pogba, the player’s agent, Mino Raiola has said that the Serie A champion have offered him a renewed contract, reports Spanish online football platform, as.com
Top clubs in Europe like Manchester United, Chelsea, and Real Madrid have all expressed interest in the 23-year-old French midfielder who was part of the French team that lost to Portugal in the final of the Euro 2016 championship.
Though the 120 million Euros price tag placed on Pogba is still being debated, Raiola told The Times newspaper that “he is in no rush to leave, and Juventus do not want him to go. They want him to renew his contract.”
Raiola further stated that “Paul is not desperate to move. We are very happy at Juventus and they are a club that wants to keep their star players.”
Meanwhile Manchester United are looking to bring back Pogba to Old Trafford after letting him go for free in 2012.
And to do this, they are willing to offer 28-year-old Spanish diminutive midfielder Juan Mata to Juve as part of the deal for Pogba.
It is believed that new Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho is keen on bringing Pogba back to Old Trafford. It is also believed that Mata does not fit into Mou’s plan and he does not mind offloading him to get Pogba.
Mourinho let Mata leave Chelsea for United when he was in charge of the West London side.
