The Katsina State Governor’s wife, Hajiya Hadiza, has reportedly taken responsibility for the medical bills of a four- year -old boy, Anas Abdulhadi, who is currently battling to regain the use of his manhood after he suffered burns from hot water while playing at his father’s residence at Makuida Quarters in Katsina.
The First Lady decided to foot the medical bills when she learned of Abdulhadi’s predicament. She was also said to have donated drugs, a mattress and an undisclosed amount of money for the boy’s upkeep.
It was gathered that Abdulhadi suffered severe burns in his groins after falling into a pot of hot water, which was allegedly prepared by his stepmother.
Meanwhile, doctors at the General Hospital, Katsina, said he may need to undergo physiotherapy after the open wounds might have healed up, adding that the outcome of the physiotherapy would determine whether Abdulhadi would need further surgical operation to regain the use of his manhood.
One of the doctors said, “We are hopeful that the boy should be able to make use of his manhood after the physiotherapy.”
