It’s no news that controversial British TV host, Piers Morgan doesn’t like retired football superstar, David Beckham; and he’s never even tried to hide it.
Every now and then, the Good Morning Britain host takes shots at Beckham. The biggest in recent time was when Piers helped to amplify Beckham’s e-mail scandal over his Knighthood snub.
And now that the new movie, King Arthur: Legend of The Sword, a movie Beckham stars in, is getting bad ratings in the box office, Piers has found another chance to take a shot at the former Galatico and he’s taking full advantage.
King Arthur is Beckham’s first foray into actor.
Read what Piers had to say about the movie as it relates to Beckham on the Good Morning Britain show:
“Unfortunately King Arthur has sunk like a stone at the box office, apparently bringing a dramatic shuddering halt to the Beckham movie career.
“If you put someone front and centre like that, that’s the problem isn’t it, he does get the blame.
“If he’s like, ‘I’m now a movie star’ and it tanks. Anyway, thoughts with David at this difficult time.”
