YBNL rapper, Lil Kesh is set to leave his parent label and start his own label, Young And Getting It, YAGI Records. According to the younger rapper, he has the full backing of his former boss, Olamide Adedeji, popularly called Olamide Baddo.

From what it seems, his former boss, Olamide is not just OK with this but in full support. Commenting on the development, Olamide said, “saying Kesh or Viktoh or anyone else is going to leave me is kind of shitty. I want these guys to be great, not to be slaves or dependent. All the guys I signed just (do) two years contract and when they are independent, my prayer is for them not to sign any deal with a record label (again).”

How sweet!!! Kesh was equally mushy about the parting and has said that YBNL and Olamide will always be family. We hope all this ends well and the young enthusiastic rapper is able to stay on his two feet in the slippery, slimy industry.

Lots of young artistes who ventured away from their record labels after a measure of success have not fared so well.
