The personal assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie has told former First Lady, Mrs. Patience Jonathan that the EFCC only goes after people with stolen money, in light of her plea to the presidency to stop her witch-hunt in the hands of the Ibrahim Magu-led EFCC.
Mrs. Johnathan on Monday petitioned President Muhammadu Buhari urging him to treat her the way Goodluck Johnathan treated Aisha Buhari when he was in power.
The former First Lady who is under investigation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, said she was being harassed because of the prominent role she played during the build-up to the 2015 elections.
But Onochie, in a reaction on her twitter handle, @Laurestar, on Tuesday, told Mrs. Jonathan that the EFCC was only attracted to those who have stolen items.
She wrote, “Madam, under your admin, oops, your husband’s admin, perversion of the course of justice was standard. Under @MBuhari’s admin, it’s forbidden.
“Again, there must be something about you that attract @officialEFCC. EFCC is only attracted to those who have stolen items. Do you have?”
