Motunrayo Umaru, owner and creative director of the Maju brand, whose line of clothes mirrors that of a fast fashion brand, has released its latest campaign for a collection aptly titled “sweet, sweet, summer”.
According to the brand’s press release, “summer means fun, excitement, and relaxation”. That means easy tiered dresses, lots of lace, and light weight separates rendered in some of summer’s most friendly bright colours: baby blue, vermilion, mustard and cerulean, with a bit of black and white thrown in.
The simplicity of the silhouettes will make the clothes an easy sell, and it also doesn’t hurt that the Maju brand already has a pocket-friendly price point, especially in these uncertain times.
