A London bound Malaysia Airlines flight, MH1, has hit severe turbulence, causing injuries to several passengers.
This was confirmed in a statement by the National Airline. The statement said that due to a brief movement of severe turbulence, some passengers suffered injuries.
“Medical Crew and Malaysia Airlines Senior Management met the Aircraft on arrival at Kuala Lumpur International Airport. A small number of affected passengers and crew have been treated by medical officers”, the Airline said as they sincerely apologized for the inconvenience.
It will be recalled that on March 8 2014, a passenger flight, MH370 operated by Malaysia Airlines disappeared while flying from Kuala Lumpur International Airport to China.
The search for the plane is still on going, even till today, with experts claiming that the MH370 flight may now be in a thousand pieces.
In July of the same year, a passenger flight operated by Malaysia Airlines while flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur was mistakenly shot down by Pro-Russian insurgents, killing all 283 passengers and 15 crew members on board.
These two unfortunate events led the Airline to the brink of bankruptcy and decline.
