A comprehensive healthcare investment program has been launched by the Federal Ministry of Health and Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA) in all the six geo-political zones of the country.

In a statement by NSIA, the aim of the investment program is to catalyse private sector investment to bridge the healthcare infrastructure gap, contribute to the reduction of the disease burden and facilitate improvement of healthcare in the country.

The statement noted that the healthcare projects has modern diagnostic services as well as advanced medical care which were being developed by the NSIA in partnership with federal government teaching hospitals and medical centres located in each of the six geo-political regions of the country.
