Victor Moses remains a doubt for Nigeria’s upcoming friendlies despite playing for Chelsea this past weekend.
Moses picked up an injury in the Blues’ 1 – 0 win over Manchester United in the FA Cup a week ago and was reportedly set to miss up to three weeks of action.
However, he started for Chelsea in their win over Stoke City in the Premier League on Saturday, suggesting that he will be just fine to feature for Nigeria in their friendlies against Senegal and Burkina Faso.
There are reports that Chelsea has informed the NFF that Moses is injured.
“Chelsea have confirmed Victor Moses’ injury but he has not fully pulled out of the Super Eagles squad yet,” a Nigeria Football Federation insider said.
Nigeria will face the Teranga Lions and the Burkinabe in upcoming international friendlies, both of which will be staged at the Hive Stadium in London.
