The weekend is around the corner. It will be time once again for workers to take some breather and catch some fun.

Popular among fun activities is movie watching movies as it is stress-free. All that is required is for the movie lover to sit back, relax and watch away.

Those in love with the big screen can be assured that this weekend is well-packaged as two movies, ‘Ben-Hur’ and ‘Kubo and the Two Strings’ will debut.

Ben-Hur is an action, drama jointly made by movie giants Paramount Pictures and Metro Goldwyn Mayer Pictures.

The movie is directed by Kazakh director, Timur Bekmambetov and features actors like Jack Huston, Toby Kebbell, Rodrigo Santoro, Nazanin Boniadi, Ayelet Zurer, Morgan Freeman, Haluk Biliginer.

The story which was put together by Keith Clarke and John Ridley is based on Judah Ben-Hur portrayed by versatile actor Jack Huston.

The story follows Judah Ben-Hur, a prince falsely accused of treason by his adopted brother Messala, an officer in the Roman Army.

The treason allegation ensured that Ben-Hur undergo the life of a slave, separated from his family members and also from his love, Nazanin Boniadi.

Having been forced out of his home by his half-brother so he could become King, Ben-Hur spent most of his life at sea, but returned to avenge his treatment.

For lovers of adventure and animation, there is ‘Kubo and the Two Strings’ to look forward to. The movie is coming from Focus Features.

 

The story, written by Marc Haimes, and Chris Butler is from ancient Japan. In the story, a boy named Kubo who lives in a small village with his mother saw his live turn around suddenly without prior warning by a past spirit.

With the past spirit coming after him, other gods and monsters t also cook their turn compelling Kubo to locate a magical suit armor, which his deceased father, a legendary Samurai warrior used to survive the same threat.
