‘Double Wahala’ singer, Oritsefemi Majemite, has revealed that the “arrest” of his ex-manager Mr. Yusuf Adebola Adepitan, aka Danku over theft was a publicity stunt.
The two business partners had a feud between them in June 2015, which led to their rumoured separation. The feud was so heated that Danku’s mother was named in it.
At a press parley on Sunday, however, Oritsefemi made the interesting revelation about the whole thing being a ‘publicity stunt’.
He said: “our rifts have been in the news for the wrong reasons and lots of allegations we made against ourselves have cost us lots of damage.
“All the things that have been mentioned about me and my manager throughout the scenario are all promotional strategies; they were publicity stunts.
“We apologise for the inconveniences we might have caused the fans. We are back for real business. My friends in the media, I thank you a lot for finding out time to grace this important parley. May God bless you.”
In another chat with Thenetng, Oritsefemi said: “I’m sorry for whatever we may have caused our friends and fans, but now me and my homeboy are cool now. It was all a publicity stunt.”
Danku also confirmed Ortisefemi’s story that they were both cool and have been working together on something big.
