The reason for this is largely because of what I call the “Fruit Trap”. These days, most people, especially young minds on the internet readily fall into this trap.

No matter how you define success, you will certainly see successful people today, especially through the media and internet.

Those people may have built huge businesses, nurtured a happy dream family or are living the life you want. You just want to be like them.

Well, there’s nothing wrong idolizing these people. Just realize that what we see is not all there is.

What we’re seeing is only the Fruit. Most of the time, we don’t even have the slightest glimpse at their journey to attain the Fruit – the end result or by product.

Ask yourself, how did those people attain the Fruits? What kind of preparation, grit and grind did they undertake? How long did they take to reach their current situation? What have they sacrificed along the way?

Most people get into the Fruit Trap so deeply that they overlook all the efforts required to produce it.

Then impatience, restlessness, anxiety creep into their daily lives, thus impeding their progress significantly.

If you want to produce healthy, juicy Fruits, you should focus on the seedling, soil and water. If you merely focus on the Fruit, what you’re going to do is to buy the fake, plastic Fruit models.

They may resemble the real Fruit, but no flesh and nutrients will be found within, and that’s not what you actually want in the first place.
