Disgruntled youths under the banner of Occupy the National Assembly have besieged the premises of the federal parliament and called for the immediate resignation of the Senate President, Bukola Saraki.
The youths, made up of mainly Civil Society Organisations and students, also demanded that the federal lawmakers immediately revisit grey areas identified in the 2016 budget by President Muhammadu Buhari.
They also demanded the return of the 36 exotic jeeps collected by Senators.
The youths prevented staffs, lawmakers and visitors from either entering or leaving the premises by blocking the main gate.
They also promised to return and take the protest to new heights if their demands were not met.
