Returning from her 100m dashed hope, Nigerian sprinter, Blessing Okagbare, on Monday qualified for the 200 metres semifinal at the Rio Olympics after clocking 22.71 secs.
Okagbare won heat 5 in the 200m 1st round to qualify alongside Cote d’Ivoire’s duo of Marie-Josee Ta Lou and Murielle Ahoure.
Blessing Okagbare will compete alongside Elaine Johnson of Jamaica and Deajah Stevens of United States in the first semifinal which will be held on Wednesday.
