Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, is up their among the best brains in football… not many will argue this going by his brilliant record across his career.

Guardiola won 14 trophies between 2008-2012 at the La Liga side including two Champions Leagues and three La Liga titles in a row.

In his four years Guardiola became the most successful Barcelona manager of all time and after revamping his squad at the Etihad since he arrived in 2016 he could do the same at City.

And Brazilian legend, Ronaldinho believes this. Asked by the Daily Mirror if Guardiola can repeat the success he enjoyed at Barcelona, Ronaldinho replied: “I believe so”.

The Blues are already eight points clear of nearest rivals Manchester United and have qualified for the knockout stages of the Champions League with two games to spare.

Ronaldinho went on to laud the Spanish gaffer. “As a player, he was already playing with a very technical mind, so he was playing as a coach, thinking about everything like a coach. So he has a deep knowledge of football.

“Wherever he goes, he understands much more than a normal coach. He understands the feeling on the field.”

The Brazilian never played under Guardiola as he left Barcelona just before he took charge but he’s still been full of praise for him.
