All looks set for former Chelsea winger, Mohammed Salah to make a return to the Premier League as his £40m transfer from Roma may be completed in the coming days.
The Egyptian star is expected to arrive in England tonight ahead of his medical at Anfield.
According to reports, Liverpool and Roma have already agreed personal terms with only a transfer fee all that’s left to finalise.
A journalist, Romano has already confirmed that the deal is complete on twitter. He wrote on Twitter: “Done deal! Mohamed Salah from AS Roma to Liverpool.”
Though the journalist confirmed the deal, the clubs involved are yet to issue any official statement as regards the deal.
Roma are set to make a huge profit on the African star. He arrived at the club on a permanent basis last summer from Chelsea in a £12m deal.
But now they want £40m to sell him this summer, and rejected Liverpool’s bid of £28m. However, a compromise of around £35m could be struck.
