Former Special Adviser on New Media to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has slammed the decision of South-East governors to outlaw the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, IPOB.
The South Eastern Governors took the decision to outlaw the pro-Biafra group on Friday at a meeting held at Enugu Government House, with the action sparking mixed reactions from Easterners.
Omokri was quick to vent his anger at the South Eastern governors on the social media. He wrote: “South East governors that do not have the guts to ban killer herdsmen in their region, have guts to ban IPOB in the South East!
“That is just like leaving the lion that is killing your children to go after the ant that is affecting your sugar.
“My advice to Igbo leaders is this, speak the truth even if your voice shakes.”
It is left to be seen how agitators of Biafra will take down this decision as confusion continues in the Eastern states.
