The Spanish government deported 11 Nigerians on Friday for various alleged offences,
Their deportation came less than 48 hours after 41 Nigerians were deported from the United States of America for similar reasons.
The deportees from Spain, 10 male and one female, arrived at the Hajj Camp area of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos at 7.10 p.m.
They were received by officers of the Nigerian Immigration Service, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency and the Lagos Airport Police Command.
Spokesperson of the command, Deputy Suprintendent of Police Joseph Alabi, confirmed the deportation.
He said the returnees were deported for allegedly committing immigration-related offences and other criminal acts in Spain.
The United Kingdom and Australia deported 40 Nigerians on May 25 over alleged offences committed in both countries.
