Love is the singular most important binding force on earth. No matter what anyone tells you, Love does make the world go round. But the thing about love is we mistakenly think it is just a feeling, the warm, fuzzy, heart swelling, butterflies-in-the-stomach kind of feeling.
The truth is, love may start out that way but it grows into something much more. Or at least, should grow into something much more. It all depends on how we want it to end. It all depends on how we decide that love should become.
There is no one trick way around this: Love is a decision. Like a what-am-I-going-to-wear-today kind of decision. When you choose what you want to wear and leave the house, then somehow along the way decide you don’t like it, you have two options:
A – Go back home and change (But this depends on how far you are from home).
B – Stick it out ( You made the decision to wear what you’re wearing and no matter what, you’re determined to make the outfit work and wear it with dignity and all that).
Well, that’s the same with love. The temptation with deciding to love is that you always have the option of changing your mind. So you can either go home and change or stick it out. The choice, as with all things in life, is up to you. But with love, you have to be ready to make a choice and stick by it regardless of the consequences. Which is why before you make your choice of love, you must be absolutely and a hundred percent (or at least close to it) sure that despite all odds the choice will be worth it.
