Six days away from his inauguration as the next POTUS, Donald Trump has spoken about his stand on the decades-old ‘One China’ policy and U.S. sanction in Russia.

In an interview with the Wall Street Journal on Friday, the president-elect said the ‘One China’ policy is open for negotiation while the sanctions against Russia could be lifted.

“Everything is under negotiation including One China,” he said.

On his initial declaration that he would label China a currency manipulator after he takes office, Trump took a back-step, stating that he wouldn’t take that step on his first day in the White House. “I would talk to them first,” he said.

On the sanctions on Russia, Trump said he would keep intact sanctions against Russia “at least for a period of time”.
