Having spent the last three seasons out on loan since he signed for Chelsea from Wigan Athletic, Nigerian winger Victor Moses is hoping he can stay the season at Chelsea.
Moses moved to Chelsea from Wigan Athletic in 2012 for a fee of roughly nine million pounds after an amazing season that saw him catch the attention of several big teams in the premier league.
Since his move four years ago across three seasons, Moses has only made 12 premier league appearances for Chelsea as he has been loaned out to three different teams in the three seasons.
His first loan spell was to Liverpool, then Stoke City and last season to West Ham.
With Chelsea rearing to kick off the new season under new manager, Antonio Conte, Moses is looking to impress the new manager so that he can be told to stay and help the team.
Goal.com reports Moses as having told the Evening Standard that: “I have to show my talent and make sure I work hard to get into his thoughts. I will keep working hard and see what happens after that.
“It’s a very big season for me, there is a new manager here… and he knows what he wants from us.We are still getting used to the way he wants us to play, but it’s going to be good.”
